  • Working Holiday Chile!

Our Working Holiday programs take place in the most spectacular regions of Chile. The long stretched country is well known for its exceptionally beautiful landscapes and outdoor activities, and has therefore incredibly much to offer for tourists, adventure seekers and to the program’s participants!

You get the unique opportunity to live and work in touristic hotspots of your choice throughout Chile. Go and explore the northern Atacama Desert, the driest in the world famous for its contrasting landscapes and sand boarding thrills; the monstrous snow-capped volcanoes, skiing slopes, the Chilean Lake District with its rolling hills and distinguished vineyards and of course the end of the world, known as the Southern Frontier with massive blue ice fields. Chile is without a doubt one of the most naturally diverse countries in South America.

    Working Holiday Chile!

Some of the possible jobs and their activities are:

    Resorts / Hotels:

    • Welcoming and attending the (international) guests.
    • Making reservations and replying to customer inquiries.
    • Serving breakfast, delivering room orders or assisting in the restaurant.
    • Organizing and coordinating tours, excursions and outdoor activities.
    • Assisting in the daily routine of operation.

    Tour Operators / Agencies:

    • Receiving guests and supporting services.
    • Selling tourist packages, excursions, out-door sports and other tours in Chile.
    • Organizing and giving tours (surfing, horseback riding, rafting, kayaking, sight-seeing, wine tours, trekking, hot springs, biking, etc.).
    • Marketing and admin tasks.

    Farm stays:

    • Taking care of the animals.
    • Producing and selling natural products.
    • Attending guests and guiding them on the tours.
    • Assisting in farm work and other daily chores.

    Working Holiday Chile!

The small or medium sized tourism companies are very excited to receive foreign participants as they bring in their manpower, motivation and foreign language skills. Volunteers will stay with host families or when working in a hotel or hostel, you will live on site in a single room or sometimes in a shared room with other participants. Meals are always included from Monday through Sunday throughout the whole stay (half board).

The other great benefit of applying for a Working Holiday Program in Chile is that you only pay one registration fee irrelevant to how long you want to stay (generally between 2 and 6 months depending on the season).

    Working Holiday Chile!

Chile has distinguished itself among its fellow neighboring countries with its stability and strong economic and political ties with Europe and Asia. The quality of service is generally of exceptional standards. In spite of its rapid growth, Chile has still been able to maintain the fascinating and magical culture that Latin America is renowned for.

A rich land riddled with a myriad of natural wonders and many adventures, just waiting to be lived by you!

This looks like a wonderful opportunity to travel and work in such a beautiful country. A real immersion experience and would be sure to meet many new people from arround the world with the added bonus of learning the language!

What a great way to travel on a budget! I’ve done a number of similar “internships” this way but this is even better because you get to travel and learna language all at the same time!
